WHEN ENGLISH GIVES WINGS TO SPORTS PASSION
Sáng ngày 16/10/2026, Trường THPT Nguyễn Thị Minh Khai đã tổ chức thành công tiết thao giảng cụm liên môn Tiếng Anh – Giáo dục Thể chất với chủ đề “Basketball – Passing the Flame”, hưởng ứng thiết thực Đề án "Từng bước đưa tiếng Anh thành ngôn ngữ thứ hai trong trường học" của Thủ tướng Chính phủ.
On the morning of October 16, 2026, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School successfully hosted an interdisciplinary English and Physical Education demonstration class themed "Basketball – Passing the Flame." This event practically supported the Prime Minister's initiative to "Gradually make English a second language in schools."
Buổi sinh hoạt chuyên môn vinh dự đón tiếp Thầy Trần Văn Thoa – Phó Hiệu trưởng, quý Thầy Cô tổ trưởng, giáo viên tổ GDTC & Tiếng Anh nhà trường cùng giáo viên hai bộ môn đến từ các trường trong Cụm Chuyên môn 5.
The professional session was honored to welcome Vice Principal Mr. Tran Van Thoa, department heads, PE and English teachers from the school, as well as guest teachers from other schools in Professional Cluster 5.
Dưới sự dẫn dắt của Thầy Nguyễn Thân Hữu Tín (tổ GDTC) và Cô Trần Phạm Phương Thảo (tổ Tiếng Anh), các bạn học sinh lớp 11A3 đã mang đến một tiết học bùng nổ năng lượng:

Station-based learning: A smooth combination of on-court basketball techniques and lively English presentations.
Sáng tạo không giới hạn: Trưng bày loạt sản phẩm ấn tượng từ infographic lịch sử, sa bàn chiến thuật, mô hình áo đấu đến ấn phẩm truyền thông CLB Bóng rổ trường.
Unlimited creativity: An exhibition of impressive student projects, including history infographics, tactical boards, jersey models, and promotional materials for the school's Basketball Club.
Giao lưu thực tế: Cơ hội trò chuyện, phỏng vấn trực tiếp HLV Rob Jessop (Gators Basketball Club) bằng tiếng Anh đầy tự tin.
Real-world interaction: A chance for students to confidently converse and interview Coach Rob Jessop from the Gators Basketball Club directly in English.
Tiết học khép lại bằng buổi trao đổi, rút kinh nghiệm chuyên môn giữa các trường trong Cụm 5. "Basketball – Passing the Flame" không chỉ là một tiết liên môn, mà còn là minh chứng sống động: Tiếng Anh trở nên gần gũi, cuốn hút khi đồng hành cùng ngọn lửa đam mê thể thao của học trò Minh Khai.
The class concluded with a professional discussion and feedback session among the schools in Cluster 5. "Basketball – Passing the Flame" is more than just an interdisciplinary lesson; it is vivid proof that English becomes relatable and engaging when it goes hand-in-hand with Minh Khai students' burning passion for sports.
